Traditional media buying skills have focused around research based media planning and up front price negotiation, but emerging ad exchange and real time trading technologies require new skills and infrastructure. Infectious Media are pioneers of the new ‘buy side’ model, offering a fully managed advertiser service layer on top of a purpose built data and trading platform infrastructure.

Graduate Internship

For the second year we are running an Internship program based on the success we had in 2009. This runs for an initial three month period within which the successful candidate will gain hands on experience of setting up, running, analysing and reporting on advertising campaigns on our Impression Desk platform. At the end of this period there is potential for the role to become a full time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise, pace, and track campaigns from briefing through to reporting and analysis
- Work effectively with other team members at Infectious Media to help accelerate the growth of client relationships
- Understand the exchange landscape and marketplace
- Identify, track and resolve operational campaign issues
- Managed expectations both internally and externally with clients for campaign implementation, management and performance
- Understand the advertising landscape
- Ask intelligent questions
At the beginning of the internship you will be set a project to work on which will be presented to the Managing Partners as the culmination of the program. This will test your written, presentation and analytical skills as well as what you have learned about the business during the internship.
Requirements:

Account Manager

Our Account Managers are a new breed of multi skilled, data driven, 'traders' who develop biddable display strategies for our clients and execute them across the Impression Desk platform. It's an exciting and challenging role at the heart of our business, and offers the opportunity to work on major advertiser business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of a portfolio of advertiser and agency client relationships.
- To include strategic management/ development, campaign implementation and reporting.
- Line management of graduate level staff in the Client Services team.
- Maintaining accurate client level forecasting.
- Ensuring the operations and client service team are functioning together on a piece of business, working closely with the analysts
- Involvement in new business pitches.
- Aid in the development of the Impression Desk platform and associated reporting functionality
Requirements:
- Start-up mindset. This is a fast moving environment.
- The ability to operate at many different levels, pitching our services to senior marketeers and junior agency planner buyers.
- Strong presentation skills, able to operate in front of senior agency and advertiser audiences.
- Deep knowledge and relationships within the UK digital media agency and advertiser sectors.
- Line management experience of staff with up to two years digital media experience.
- Deep knowledge of adserving technologies.
- Analytical mind, able to easily interpret data and present results in a concise fashion.
- Experience of working on digital direct response accounts and proven track record in this area.
- Effective time-management skills. Must be able to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Account Director

The Account Director is a pivotal role within Infectious and reports directly in to a Managing Partner.
Infectious is on a rapid growth curve and we expect that the successful candidate will play a major role
in building the team and shaping the company as we go forward. You need to be a flexible, commercially minded individual that can handle a huge breadth of responsibilities; from business planning, direct client
pitches and account direction, through to dealing with Planner/Buyers at media agencies.Key Responsibilities:
