Data Analyst

The Infectious Media Analytics Team plays a large, proactive part in Infectious Media’s internal and external operations. As a Data Analyst you will produce pivotal analyses and visualisations which help support campaign decisions and cement client relationships. Later, you can expect to expand into larger standalone projects and specialisations depending on your skills and qualifications.
Data is central to our proposition and a good candidate will be willing to work with large databases on a daily basis, writing bespoke queries and analysis routines in R. You will also be expected to work alongside members of other teams in a consultative role and present your findings to key stakeholders, making use of strong communication and problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain bespoke client facing and internal reports with emphasis on user experience and accuracy of reported data
- Run daily internal reports and summarise daily activity for senior management
- Design and perform hypothesis tests using our large databases and report your findings
- Assist in the production of larger scale analysis products
- Suggest new data points to collect and develop new products from
- Understand the exchange landscape and marketplace
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics related subject or strong emphasis on statistical analysis in degree course
- Very proficient in MS Excel and at least one of the following statistical software packages (R, Stata, Minitab, SPSS, SAS).
- Demonstrable problem solving abilities
- Strong written and oral presentation skills with the ability to summarise complex concepts for non-statisticians
- Strong work ethic; must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative.
- Effective time-management skills; must be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- Very comfortable with learning new technology
- Master’s degree with focus on statistics or machine learning
- Understanding of Bayesian statistical methods
