Recruitment Process

The interview process needn’t be daunting at Infectious Media. Here’s what to expect when you apply for a job with us:

  1. For the roles that require you to know your way around data or spreadsheets, entry level applicants will be asked to complete a short maths test.
  2. ‘Meet and greet’ interview
    This is an opportunity for you to talk through your experience and your career goals. We’ll also take the chance to tell you all about the role and the culture here at Infectious Media.
  3. Second interview
    Here we like to delve down a bit further. All candidates, whether you’re interviewing for an entry level role, or senior position will be given a task. The task will vary depending on the nature of the role – it could be analysing data, presenting your thoughts on the future of advertising, or a technical task.

  • We’re pretty casual over here. So swap that suit and tie for something that more reflects who you are

  • Account Director - Singapore
    Singapore

    Infectious Media is an international programmatic agency that partners with global brands to deliver effective and efficient media campaigns. As part of the Infectious Media team, you can expect to work with some of the world’s leading brands. The Account Director is a pivotal role at Infectious Media.   • Campaign Executive - entry level

But what is programmatic advertising? In essence, it is the automated delivery of targeted advertising to consumers. You’ll be given comprehensive training, the chance to work with some high profile global brands and invaluable insight into the world of digital marketing.


    Campaign Executive’s are the ones who actually deliver all of our client’s campaigns, making sure we carry out the plans agreed with our clients correctly and with an eye to delivering concrete results. This requires an enormous amount of attention to detail, a studious mindset and a willingness to get involved with complex problems at speed.   • Finance Director
    London

    The Finance Director will report directly to the CEO and COO. They will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with all aspects of the business to drive commercial understanding and decision-making. Infectious Media has maintained its start-up feel as it has grown, and is a fast-moving business in an industry that constantly evolves. The Finance Director needs to nurture and support this innovative and ambitious culture, whilst also ensuring stability and a focus on key value drivers. This role would suit someone looking for their first or second Finance Director opportunity.  

    Here's what we'd like you to do:

    • Partner with the co-founders to set the strategy and direction of the business, and work with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to translate this strategy into detailed financial and operational objectives and targets. 
    • Be the ultimate owner of Finance (including bookkeeping, tax, audit and the financial control environment), plus company secretarial and certain operational areas. 
    • Financial planning and the budget framework. 
    • Ownership of the reporting framework (financial performance and KPI reporting) across all stakeholders, including the co-founders, the SMT, Sales and Client leads, the bank and all hands events.
    • Work with the Revenue Director on new business commercials, pipeline forecasting, and remuneration planning. 
    • Work with Client Partners and service delivery leads on existing client revenue and profitability reporting and forecasting, and time sheet oversight. 
    • Work with Operations & HR Director on corporate objective setting, and headcount planning.
    • Cash management, including foreign currency management and financing (debt/equity).

  • Interim Financial Controller
    London

    Infectious Media is a fast paced, ambitious programmatic advertising business that’s disrupting the media buying landscape. Our mission is to make advertising work for brands, connecting them to people using data and technology, and redefining the agency model. We are looking for an interim Financial Controller for up to three months.


    Here's what we'd like from you:
    • Oversee the finance function until a permanent FD starts.  

    • Report into the COO & co-founder.

    • Line management of Management Accountant, and overall responsibility for financial controls/processes environment.

    • Prepare monthly management accounts and associated reporting & analysis, for submission to Directors.

    • Advise the co-founders (CEO & COO) on financial issues, supporting on all relevant decision-making, and assist in the formulation of fiscal year objectives and strategies.

    • Prepare and manage annual, quarterly and monthly budgets, cashflows and forecasts/reforecasts.

    • Treasury management, including hedging against foreign currency risk.

    • Ensure any tax or other compliance obligations are met.

    • Monitor completion of timecards.

    • Oversee all commercial proposals, working particularly closely with Sales to price new business proposals.

    • Support Commercial Operations Director with resource planning and hiring sign off.

    • Support HR with monthly payroll preparation and review.

    • Support HR with annual remuneration benchmarking and pay reviews.

    • Support the COO with any company secretarial matters.


    • Experience with Xero is preferable but not necessary.
